The Last Will & Testament

 

of me Valentine Edwards Clayson of Deal in the County of Kent whatever property the Almighty God may please that I should be possessed of at the time of my decease I give bequeath and dispose of in the following manner

 

in the first place I give & bequeath unto my dear wife the produce of all my property real and personal that is to say she is to receive all rents and interest of money let it be of what nature soever, for and during the term of her natural life and after her decease the whole of the said property real and personal to be equally divided amongst all my children share and share alike and I constitute and appoint my dear wife sole Executrix to this my last Will

 

dated this twenty seventh day of January 1844 ~ V.E.Clayson  ~

 

signed by the said Testator in the presence of us present at the same time and who in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses

Proved at London the 24th June 1845 before the worshipful Richard  Beaumont Burnaby, Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Elizabeth Clayson widow the relict the sole Executrix to whom administration was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
